Our Experiences
Where stories unfold, connections flourish, and Innovation takes center stage.
Tokyo: NANOTECH 2023
Since its inception in 2001, the Nanotech exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, has been one of the world’s biggest exhibitions. Our participation in Nanotech 2023 at Tokyo Big Sight, under NanoMalaysia Berhad’s Pavilion, allowed us to connect with a diverse international audience, sharing our innovations and fostering meaningful interactions.
Kuala Lumpur: ITEX 2023
International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) is an annual event in Malaysia where inventors like us showcase our creations and innovations, encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange. We proudly took home the Best Innovative Product Award in the Energy category.
Kuala Lumpur: I-Nation MRANTI 2023
I-Nation 2023 marks a strategic collaboration between MRANTI, a local technology enabler, and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), focusing on ESG and sustainability. We seized a valuable opportunity to showcase our innovations and engaging with a diverse audience. Our achievement includes winning the Best Innovative Tech Award for our outstanding presentation in the NTIS Pitch Perfect competition.
MATRADE: iNNOVATE Tech Show 2022
We participated in the iNNOVATE Tech Show, a collaborative effort by Best Events Productions Sdn Bhd and MRANTI, which received backing from the Malaysia Japan – Economic Association (MAJECA). The exhibition served as a gateway for Asian companies to explore transformative innovations and aligning with business objectives.
1st Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) Visit to our Ara Damansara Laboratory
The first visit from Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), a ministry of Malaysian government, to our Ara Damansara Laboratory gave us the chance to give the nanofluid project under Nano Malaysia Berhad Group’s National Graphene Action Plan 2020. The collaboration began in 2018, progressing from Proof of Concept to the current Scale-Up stage.
2nd Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) Visit to our Ara Damansara Laboratory
MOSTI Minister YB Dato’ Sri Dr. Adham Bin Baba, accompanied by Secretary General YBhg. Datuk Zainal Abidin Bin Abu Hassan, and NanoMalaysia CEO Dr. Rezal Khairi Ahmad, visited our Ara Damansara Laboratory. The focus was to explore our graphene-based nanofluid.
NSB 2023: 13th Nordic Symposium on Building Physics
Our director delivered an engaging talk at Aalborg University (AAU), an international public university with campuses in Aalborg, Esbjerg, and Copenhagen, Denmark. The focus of his presentation was on his groundbreaking paper that explores ways to enhance the energy efficiency of central cooling systems using engineered nanofluids. His research delves into innovative approaches to optimize cooling processes, offering potential solutions to increase sustainability and reduce energy consumption in these systems. The talk at AAU provided an insightful platform for sharing knowledge and discussions on advancing energy-efficient technologies.
Qatar Cool
Qatar, host of the FIFA World Cup 2022, showcased its impressive infrastructure during the event. Doha, in particular, is home to the world’s largest district cooling plant, a massive 130,000 RT facility with 52 chillers. Operated by Qatar Cool, this Integrated District Cooling Plant serves The Pearl-Qatar, providing chilled water to multiple buildings in the district. I had the chance to meet with Mohannad Khader, the Director of Business Development for Qatar Cool, who highlighted the plant’s role in cooling both entire buildings and residential apartments in The Pearl.
Germany (Hielscher)
Hielscher Ultrasonics specializes in the design and manufacturing of high- power ultrasonic homogenizers. Ultrasonic power is an effective and energy-efficient means to apply high shear and intense stress to liquids. This is an integral part of the production of nanofluids. Bernard Sagaiyaraj recently met with Gunther Benner at this research and production facility at Teltow, a small town about 30 minutes from Berlin. There is an amazing level of R&D in ultrasonication that is happening at this facility and the range of applications and the span of industries for this is equally astounding.
