Collaborating with cooling system manufacturers, Navien tailors graphene nanofluid formulations to specific requirements. Heading the Nanotechnology Department, Sofea is dedicated to exploring practical uses of graphene. With a focus on nanofluids, she works on optimizing graphene-based materials for improved heat transfer, a crucial factor in various industrial sectors that utilize cooling and heating. Involved in establishing quality and designing stable nanofluid formulations, Sofea considers environmental impact, proposing sustainable alternatives and assesses products’ life cycles to promote sustainability and minimize their environmental footprint.

Head of Department: Nabila Sahira
Nabila oversees a critical unit dedicated to seamlessly transitioning laboratory innovations into large-scale production. Specializing in translating processes for real-world applications, Nabila’s team optimizes conditions, equipment, and parameters for efficiency. Collaborating closely with researchers, they design and implement manufacturing processes, operating a pilot plant for testing and fine-tuning before full-scale production.
